Opel Blitz 3.6-42-30

This rare Opel Blitz was built in Brandenburg in 1940 and purchased by the owner in 1982. The restoration was completed in 1993.
This Blitz features an original factory cab made from rare steel and is equipped with an open loading platform. The entire drivetrain (engine, transmission, and axles) was completely overhauled, including all bearings being replaced.
After extensive research across various countries, an original Imbert wood gas generator was located, restored to its original condition, and reassembled.
The owner’s company operated this type of Opel Blitz for transporting construction materials.
