Info on 100 km/h unbraked operation:

The following applies: for unbraked trailers, if you wish to use the 100 km/h permit (if specified), there is a 0.3 multiplication factor between the towing vehicle’s unladen weight and the trailer’s gross weight (most unfavorable scenario). Thus, for a 750 kg trailer, your towing vehicle must have an unladen weight of 750 / 0.3 = 2500 kg.

If this is not the case, you can have the trailer’s gross weight reduced (at TÜV). For example, if your towing vehicle has an unladen weight of 1600 kg, the trailer’s gross weight must be reduced to 1600 x 0.3 = 480 kg. You must then live with the remaining payload, regardless of the vehicle or speed.

Furthermore, the trailer's gross weight must not exceed the maximum unbraked towing capacity (O2) registered for your vehicle.

LED notice:

On some car models, Trailer LED lighting may not function correctly. This issue occurs particularly with newer car models due to the low current draw of LED technology. For proper trailer lighting operation, the vehicle or tow bar must be fitted with an additional module that supports LED lighting. Lorries does not supply this module with production trailers.
