For decades, we have been your reliable partner for all things Unimog. In addition to a large inventory of used vehicles, we also offer demonstration and custom-configured new vehicles. Spare parts trading is another key focus. Thanks to our extensive stock, the licensed manufacturing of discontinued spare parts, and daily express shipping, we are able to meet your needs quickly. We also offer our own in-house developments, such as a full air suspension system for the Unimog or an air conditioning system specifically designed for the Unimog cab. Expedition vehicles or empty cabins are built to customer specifications. We are also active in the rental business, offering vehicles for winter service and other applications for seasonal or long-term rental.

MEREX is headquartered in Gaggenau, which is also home to the original UNIMOG factory. On a premises of 9,000 m² including outdoor storage, as well as in a 2,000 m² warehouse with high-bay shelving, we stock over 30,000 different items. In our spacious reception area, we provide comprehensive multilingual advice on vehicle and spare parts purchases. Our partner workshop MERTEC, a certified UNIMOG service partner with a broad range of services, is located nearby. Thanks to the convenient location near the A5 motorway, we are easy to reach.

From foundation to today
Company history
MEREX Autovertrieb GmbH was founded in 1989 by René Dusseldorp and has been based at the original home of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog ever since. René Dusseldorp already had 14 years of Unimog experience when he started the company. Thanks to a willingness to take on large orders and expand the export business, MEREX was able to achieve significant sales numbers in foreign markets even in its early years. Since 2008, we have greatly expanded our spare parts business by acquiring larger parts inventories and liquidated stocks worldwide (including South Korea, Greece, Pakistan, France). After several moves necessitated by our continuous growth, we have been located at our current site since 2015. In 2009, André Dusseldorp joined the management, and since 2021 he has been the sole managing director of MEREX Autovertrieb GmbH.
